As the first low-carbon hotel in the Lille metropolitan area, the transformation of this historic landmark into a high-end hotel is driven by both environmental preservation and the enhancement of its remarkable heritage. Architectural masterpieces such as the majestic glass roof with its soaring ceiling height, the elegant marble staircase, and the intricate wrought ironwork have been carefully restored and seamlessly integrated into the hotel’s new design.
A true testament to the Art Deco movement, the building is being reimagined into an exceptional space that blends history, architecture, and a unique design - while preserving its original soul.
The 4-star Hôtel & Spa Oceania Les Augustins will offer 88 rooms and suites, a bar and restaurant open to all, and a wellness area featuring an indoor pool, sauna, treatment, and massage services.
Immersed in an Art Deco ambiance subtly inspired by the former Scalbert Dupont bank, the hotel's 88 rooms combine elegance and refinement.
Each room is a tribute to a bygone era, where comfort and style blend seamlessly with the sophisticated and secure world of grand banking institutions. Adorned in a refined palette of British green, beige, brown, and gold accents, the dominant colors create a warm and intimate atmosphere.
