For its 2021 edition, the Green Marathon will provide a chance to discover Rennes and will feature 5 running and walking courses. A decade of actions to improve the environment

“1 km covered = 1 tree planted”: for eight years, each kilometre covered in the five Marathon events has contributed to the preservation of the environment. This ecological approach is the brainchild of the Green Marathon's founder Daniel Jeulin and Jacques Rocher from the Yves Rocher Foundation. In 2019, participants covered 117,445 km and the same number of trees were planted! In eight years, race participants have planted 842,433 trees across France, Portugal, Germany and India.
