O'news - Pornichet: to be discovered!

Last weekend, I went to Pornichet and stayed at the hotel Escale Oceania*** Pornichet La Baule…

It was my first time in a hotel of the Oceania Group. First of all, the hotel is really easy to find. In the center of Pornichet, a sign “hotels” gives the direction and a second blue sign  "Escale Oceania" easily led me to the hotel.

At the desk, I appreciated the warm welcome from Marie. And it was the same throughout the weekend with Audrey, Mathilde, Bryan and Amine. Now let’s go to the room. On my way, I discover the bar and nice armchairs that invite to take a break. I will try that later. I also pass the business corner and its free Internet connexion. But I will not try that later as this is the weekend!

Room 210. Very clean, spacious and functional as well. I take a look at the bathroom and notice that it is spacious too! Believe it or not you have enough space to put your toilet kit. There is also a large mirror, but the most important thing is the walk-in shower which is really spacious: you will not knock against the wall!

The hotel is well-situated in the city center. A few steps away I could find good addresses: the “Biscuiterie des Marais” with delicious products, but also the restaurant “Le Saint-Valentin” with a nice welcome and really good meals.

Close to the hotel is the “plage des Libraires”. A walk along this beach will lead to the casino and the thalassatherapy center. If you feel like visiting the region, I recommend the small and beautiful city of Guérande, Le Croisic and its nice port as well as La Brière, a quiet and peaceful nature park

To sum it up, a weekend is not enough. As for the hotel, it is just beautiful, the rooms are functional and the staff is really nice.

My advice is: try it !

And do not miss the buffet breakfast with GOOD bread, GOOG coffee and GOOD tea. It is really worth it!
