In the chateau’s extraordinary setting, you'll discover the national museum of the Merchant Marine. This museum has a very nice collection of model ships, paintings and sculptures. The Merchant Marine Museum’s collection of model ships is unique. Evoking the art of the royal naval shipyards' carpenters, the collection assembled in Brest recalls the history of Richelieu's naval shipyard and the great seagoing fleets at sailing's high point.
