The Parliament of Brittany stands in the middle of Rennes’ city centre. It is a masterpiece of Royal- and Parisian-style architecture, and it is also a famous place in Brittany’s political history. Erected in Rennes in 1618, it has since that time played host to a large number of legislative and political institutions. Today, the court of appeals and the criminal court are headquartered there. You can also find many exhibitions taking place in it.
