About 28 km away from Saint Malo, near Dol de Bretagne, you will find the "Champ Dolent" Stone. It is said that a terrible battle took place there between two brothers and their armies. Those fights spilled so much blood that it was sufficient to make the mill's wheel turn. The menhir is said to have grown in order to separate the two brothers and put an end to the battles.

The most picturesque site of our beautiful region!  Walking along this peaceful cliff trail at the mouth of La Rance is already an eye-opener to the vast panorama over Saint-Malo, its islands and its harbour, as well as over Dinard and its tidal power station.  The Solidor Tower harbours an interesting museum dedicated to the long-distance travels of the Cape Horn sailors - the “Long-Cours Cap-Hornier” International Museum.  Objects, models, sea-faring controls and maps are all on show, enabling to walk in the footsteps of these extraordinary Saint-Malo privateers.  Then, make a stop at the Bistrot de Solidor, “a restaurant not to missed”, says our Manager!

Saint-Malo ramparts stands proudly above its beaches and its harbor. Facades and towers emerging fortifications give the city its unique silhouette.
Inside the
walls, the walk continues between the high houses. Hard to believe that most have been rebuilt after the bombing of 1944! You may be tempted to stop on the terrace, place Chateaubriand, but your break will wait when you'll see  the tower Quic-en-Groigne, thishouse looking like a castle built by Pélicot looks alos like the rear of a ship !
Accessible by foot at low tide, the fort of Petit Bé are exceptionally located. There, you will enjoy a memorable
360 ° view and will have the opportunity to say a posthumous "Hello" to the famous writer of the region : Chateaubriand.
