This chateau was the former residence of the bishops of Orléans. In 1461, the poet François Villon was the guest of the bishop of that time, who lodged him for an entire summer in one of the park’s dungeons, tens of metres below ground. Nowadays, it makes visitors looking for thrills quite happy, as do the other cells under the castle. The castle’s lounges are also open to the public, and visitors can take advantage of the park, to a large extent. About 20 km from the hotel.
