Covering around a hundred hectares to the north-east of Rennes, the Parc des Gayeulles is currently the town's biggest park. Located in the heart of a natural landscape with wooded areas, lakes and glades, the park offers a wide range of outdoor leisure activities. The park also has a rugby field and several football fields, three outdoor tennis courts, three indoor tennis courts and a ramp for skateboarders and roller skaters, miniature golf and areas specially fitted out for small children. It also features large lawns and a small beach near a very large lake where pedal boats are available.
