If it’s your first time in Biarritz, I often recommend starting from the Grande Plage, where a promenade awaits you and leads you to Biarritz’s different beginnings; it takes you by the Port de Pêcheur, the Rocher de la Vierge, where you have a magnificent view of the whole Basque coast and the mountains, and then you end up by the Old Port’s beach. Then come back through the Old Port’s streets, which are the liveliest parts (outside paellas in the summer, etc.).
