In 2013, 3,500 runners are to be expected before the Cathedral of Nantes.
The 2013 course is new (new start site, new arrival, new route). The Marathon de Nantes offers a unique opportunity to capture the city. The organizers promise a real visit cultural and historical heart of Nantes, on a course 100% urban.
The best parts of the previous course have been preserved, the difficulties and less popular sectors have been erased. For the first time in its history, the marathon will take place entirely in the city on a path more stock. The discovery of Nantes, in the course of the Loire, the Château des Ducs de Bretagne at Canal St Félix through the Place Royale, the Cathedral, the Jardin des Plantes, the Machines de l'Ile, the course of the 50 hostages .. . offers a unique journey fraught with original animations.
