Interweaving traditional puppetry skills with modern multimedia effects, Yeung Fai stages his personal story in this moving show.

Coming from a long line of puppeteers, Yeung Fai's family suffered from the Cultural Revolution: its craft became decadent and has finally been banned. Set against the vast changes that deeply affect China during the 20th century, Fai's performance illlustrates his journey from persecution to freedom in the West, told through a series of wordless sketches, visual poems and living sounds, makes for a compelling spectacle.
