"Les Rochers Sculpés" at Rothéneuf is a strange world populated by characters from another time: the grimacing faces shaped by the hand of man evoke medieval gargoyles and phantasmagorical creatures of our cathedrals.

"Menhir du Champ Dolent"

About 28 km away from Saint Malo, near Dol de Bretagne, you will find the "Champ Dolent" Stone. It is said that a terrible battle took place there between two brothers and their armies. Those fights spilled so much blood that it was sufficient to make the mill's wheel turn. The menhir is said to have grown in order to separate the two brothers and put an end to the battles.

Cancale

Cancale was once the grand port of trawlermen who departed for months on end in quest of the North Atlantic waters.  They took up residence at the Port de la Houle in the lower parts of the town, a district that has retained its charm with its narrow streets and old houses backed onto the cliff.  Cancale is also renowned for its Belon oysters.
